Love Zombies is an original multi media production created through an exciting partnership between BIG hART and Wynyard High School, on Tasmania’s North West Coast. Inspired by local stories, talents and resources Love Zombies aims to provide the very best opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and innovative thinking, and is a template for school productions far beyond Wynyard High.

In Love Zombies, there’s a twist at every turn. In an eerie post climate change world zombies dance to remixed techno versions of classics and rediscover the importance of love. The action weaves through space criss-crossed by BMXers and skaters, in front of a backdrop of student films. It’s dynamic and fun with students performing, as well as managing publicity, sound & lighting, filmmaking, interviewing and costume design. These real life skills and challenges create genuine and relevant learning for the classroom and for later life.
